I am a product and experience designer with 5 years experience in the field of telecom and consumer products. Currently I am living in Copenhagen, Denmark.
I have worked at Turkcell –leading telecommunication company in Turkey- as an UX designer more than two years. I was responsible for improving the user experience of services and products such as BIP (Instant Messaging Service), TV platform, Fizy (Music platform), Turkcell Akıllı Depo (Personal Cloud), IoT devices, Youth Segment App/Website and Premium Segment App/Website.
In Turkcell, I have worked in close contact with products' business and technical owners during strategic design decisions and iterations of products not only for mobile solutions, but for all cross-platform applications. This approach was adopted from the ideation phase of defining the target group, till the development phase where quick and impactful UX iterations are needed.
About BIP BIP is an application that gives you a new generation instant messaging, and voice and voice call experience. You can send instantly and for free all your photos, videos, audios and messages with entertaining content you cannot find elsewhere.
Impact By the end of March '16, BIP hit 7 million downloads.
Background Redesign of support desk screen interface.
Field research Observations and interviews with employees in 2 cities and 5 locations.
Key findings - Lack of English speaking sales representatives results with customer dissatisfaction especially in touristic locations. - There is no communication channel for people have a hearing loss and people have trouble with spoken language due to some other disability. - People who has an urgent need for communication (e.g out of battery, out of credit) see operator sales points as a place to get help.
Solution Enabling users to get support in four different languages and sign language with video call feature. Emergency call feature allows subscribers to call all operator numbers and talk 30 seconds for free.
Result New user interface was implemented with new features and services behind. Today, support desk helps to thousands of customers in more than 100 locations across the country.

I have hold more than 20 usability tests in two years. Setting up a usability test involves carefully creating a scenario or realistic situation, wherein the user performs a list of tasks using the product being tested while observers watch and take notes. Several other test instruments such as scripted instructions, paper prototypes and pre- and post-test questionnaires are also used to gather feedback on the product being tested.
The aim is to observe how people function in a realistic manner, gauge the usability of new and existing products in order to make constructive suggestions for change.
Techniques we used to gather data during a usability test include think aloud protocol and co-discovery learning.
In Turkcell, I was responsible for running The Experience Centerwhere the tests in İstanbul took place. We commonly benefited from technologies like eye-tracking, mobile eye-tracking and EEG.
This project was about redesigning an existing Magazine App which you can download and read a wide selection of paid and free magazines.
- Creating a new, pleasant reading experience on mobile devices
- Increasing monthly/yearly subscription rates
1.Benchmark Benchmarking is a good way to begin a redesign project to get inspiration and targeted goals. To get a better understanding,
We identified some UX factors and examined how competitor products perform in these specific tasks.
2.User Interviews The objective in approaching the interviews was to understand the deeper implications of reading habits, motivations, and behaviours around reading and sharing magazines.
We conducted 7 interviews including 3 people using the existing product daily.
3.Information architecture We rebuilt the information architecture based on the insights from user interviews.
4.Wireframe We designed all screens and the navigation flow. Shared the documents with UI Designer and the development team.
5.UI Design and development We planned the sprints together with the product owner, analyst, UI Designer and developer. Content generation, visual design and development progressed in the same time.
6.User testing & UAT We conducted a user test with the interactive prototype and share the findings with the team. Development team ran a UAT to test the technical capabilities of the software.
We explored the entire product experience – from purchase and unpacking, to installation and use – from her perspective. These scenarios helped us frame primary uses for the Mylight, and to identify sticking points and benefits. And they enabled us to develop a packaging and communication concept that female consumers will immediately relate to their own needs.
Mount the Mylight under your bed, for instance. If you have to get up in the middle of the night – to use the bathroom, to see to a crying child – its muted light will illuminate the floor as soon as you swing your legs out of bed.
"Since the Mylight relaunch earlier 2014, US sales have taken off. In fact, they’ve been so good that the Danish Trade Council just awarded E3light the Vitus Export Prize."

During my service at Nar Gourmet, the activities of creating Nar Gourmet's corperate identity and building operations were taking space. I embraced the opportunity to experience the start-up business model and to observe the whole process from design to implementation at the company. I worked as Design and Product Development Specialist for almost two years. I enjoyed to work about branding, package design, strategic design in a collaboration with agencies in the field of graphic design, web design and advertising. After two years more than hundred products took place on gourmet shops, airports and hotels. I learned a lot from this experience.

Peephole Camera Concept
Safe sight is a smart camera located on the house entrance door peephole.
Real time images can be monitored through mobile applications. When the sensor detects movement outside of the door, it automatically starts recording.
Hereby, you have information on everyone who visits.
When you see you have a miss call you check the caller and call back if it is necessary. However, you cannot know who is knocking your door when you are not at home. He/she can be a carrier delivering an important shipment or a friend who stopped by to say ‘hi’ or a stranger who can be dangerous.
Safe sight brings a solution to this need. Every peephole is turning into a security camera.
The device can be fixed to the peephole with an extra piece. It is getting open when you push the button for long time and it connects to wi-fi with a short push. When device senses movement, recording automatically starts. LED light on the device goes on with motion detection. In the same time you get notification on your mobile phone and watch the record in real-time. You can also reach previous records and change the settings through application.
Safe sight lets you know about your visitors. You can activate the alarm to be deterrent or contact security units in a suspicious case.
Standart security cameras can noticeable and vulnerable. Safe sight is placed inside of the door, so it cannot be recognized or get damaged. When you buy a standart security camera you will need help for the installation. Safe sight is easy to set up so you can do it yourself.
Safe sight is also a big help for childs who are not tall enough to watch through peephole, elderly people who has difficulties with mobility and disabled people.
Mobile Shower Concept
Concept Disaster shower is a multi-functional, compact cleaning device. It stores enough water for full body shower. It uses solar energy to heat the water. Two layered vacuum body provides thermal insulation. Ultra-violet rays and heat destroys the bacteria which cause common water-borne diseases. Manual foot pump transfers the water to the shower head. Shower head sprays small droplets of water and reduce the water consumption.
